The Boatyard at Founders Landing is a 50-slip marina offering a relaxed, family-style atmosphere on the North Fork. Owned and operated by the Costello family, the marina is led by John A. Costello, a Greenport-based marine contractor with more than 60 years of experience designing, building, and maintaining marinas and boatyards. Today, John works alongside his daughter, Jane Costello, continuing a hands-on family tradition grounded in craftsmanship, reliability, and community values.
Deeply rooted in the local community, the Costello family is dedicated to preserving the North Fork’s maritime heritage and supporting the working waterfront that defines the region.

At The Boatyard, our mission is simple: to provide a safe, dependable docking facility with the essential marine services boaters need to fully enjoy the surrounding waters. This historic property represents a rare opportunity to revitalize a once-thriving maritime hub.
We envision a return to a vibrant, working waterfront—where boat builders, marine mechanics, and other maritime businesses once again call this site home, contributing to a strong and sustainable coastal community.
