at Founders Landing.

A 50-slip marina with a causal family-style atmosphere, owned and operated by the Costello Family. John A. Costello, a marine contractor from Greenport has been designing, building and maintaining boatyards and marinas for more than 50 years. He works side-by-side with his children, Jack and Jane Costello. The Costello Family is deeply rooted in the local community and maintain a strong belief in preserving the North Fork way of life and supporting the working waterfront.

Mission

The family’s intention for The Boatyard is to provide a safe docking facility that will offer boaters necessary marine services so that they have the ability to enjoy the surrounding waterfront area. This property is a unique niche with a vast maritime history. The hope is that boat builders, marine mechanics and other maritime businesses will once again call this site home.

Located at the end of Hobart Road in an area of Southold known as Founders Landing. The Boatyard is situated in a quiet, family focused neighborhood that is just minutes away from all that the North Fork has to offer. Southold Town Park and launching ramp are also just a stone’s throw away.
